Yes, the actual food you choose to eat is important, and yet, what is also absolutely vital to observe is your primary food - your self-care practices, your movement, relationships, work, daily rituals, mindset, joy barometer. What truly lights you up and nourishes you deep in your core?
As a health coach and personal trainer, I create a supportive environment that will motivate you to reach your next level of health goals. I have studied all the major dietary theories and use practical lifestyle coaching methods to guide you in discovering which approach works best for you.
Most approaches to nutrition and exercise dwell on calories, carbs, fats, length of time, intensity. Instead of creating lists of restrictions and good and bad foods and/or exercise, I coach my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and free of denial and harsh discipline. A KEY piece of this journey is mindset. I gently encourage accountability and inspire you to take it one day, one baby step at a time. The focus shifts to JOY and “adding in.” Adding in greens, water, breathing, play, rest, self-care, JOYFUL movement, strength, pleasure, MINDFULNESS. And as you add in HEALTH, you “crowd out” what no longer serves your body and mind anymore.
Every moment we make choices. Choices that lead us toward the life we want or further from it. As your health coach, intuitive healer, personal trainer, I serve as your guide. I help you to get REALLY clear on what you want and how you truly want to FEEL. I see your blockages and reflect back to you where you are getting stuck and then provide tools for how to best cleanse your life and live the one you most desire. I observe, listen, walk with you on your path and guide you to tap into your own innate intelligence.
This can be done together in-person or virtually by phone or FaceTime/Zoom so we can work together no matter where you live or how demanding your schedule might be.*

In my own life and with my business as a holistic health and wellness coach and yoga teacher, I am deeply passionate about guiding women back home to their bodies and hearts in a more compassionate, loving way. And every week, I have the opportunity to do this at Hope on Haven Hill. I am truly honored to teach Yoga for Recovery through Yoga In Action (YIA) and to be able to help these courageous mothers connect with their bodies (many for the first time) with greater loving-kindness, gentleness, and trust. I remember one woman told me after class one time that she places her hand on her heart every night before she falls asleep, takes a few deeper breaths, and says “thank you” to her body for all that it does for her every single day. She said she feels a sense of ease and relaxation after yoga that she hasn’t experienced before. My hope is that each mother there can walk away feeling even the slightest glimmer of love for themselves and learn to soften and anchor back to their breath and compassion more and more with each class.
